She says she owes EVERYTHING to writers... well, Ms. Davis... I will agree that writers are exceptionally talented people and without them, we would be lost... HOWEVER, without actors like YOU, writers would never have the chance to see their dreams so BEAUTIFULLY REALIZED! Bravo, Bette, Bravo!!!

@TheFutureLooksGrimm He's talking about a movie called Myra Breckenridge. The movie was a very bad adaptation from a book with the same name written by Gore Vidal. The movie was one of the first X rated movies ever made. A lot of the dialogue from the film was ad-libbed rather than scripted so as a result some of the scenes are strange. So, Dick here is asking Bette. Davis how she would feel if she had been one of the cast of this very controversial and much hated film.
