  • great fly, nice clear instructions well done keep on helping with your videos. Regards Alan

  • hey, this is one of my favorite flies to use up here in new york, but i have a slightly different pattern that works wonders for me, and is extremely deadly.replace the peacock herl with muskrat fur dubbing, but use the same hackle. no wire is needed, and this skates beautifully on the surface. if you want to try using the pattern, anyone is more than welcome. i personallyu use a size 14-20 hook size and black thread.

  • dude you sound like a robot

  • soo it makes the fly so much stronger

  • umm that hook looks like its a size 12 or 14 so that it is easily visible but the biggest hook you want for a grifith is 16 you really want some around 20

  • what size hook and where do u go fishing around here nowadays. Im a young fly fisherman and I only now of few rivers withing an hour form the portland area.

  • brown hackle works well too

  • good job thanks
