Steve Wilkinson, Vocals, washboard, percussion, bluesharp, made his first recording at the famous Plant Studio's (NY) at age eighteen. He recorded with Keith Moon and Mitch Mitchell and roamed the streets of Manhattan with an utterly drunk John Lennon. Jimi Hendrix was his personal friend. He toured, traveled and lived all over the world and was leadsinger in numerous bands. In recent years he toured the former Eastern-block country's extensively and appeared several times on Czech National Television with the Riverside Bluesband following the release of the CD 'Gone Fishin' with special guest Cas Ian on National Dobro slide guitar.

Cas Ian, Vocals, slide-guitar, toured all over Europe with blueslegend R.L. Burnside and Jon Morris, Uncle Ben Perry and for several years with Mississippi drummer/singer Calvin Jackson. The CD recording he made with Jackson was internationally very well received and was a/o nominated for the W.C. Handy Awards 2001, Memphis USA.

Eric Wels, bass (standing in for Hans de Vos), has played & toured with Barry McCabe (IRL), Monti Amundson (USA), Double Brown (Be), Magic Frankie & the bluesdisease (NL), Calvin Jackson (USA), Kaz Lux (NL), Banda Mudanca (BRAZIL), Nesim Maxhuni (KOSOVO).

From the festival brochure: Songs van Muddy Waters, Willie Dixon, Robert Johnson en eigen materiaal. Het washboard, de antieke basdrum en de harplicks van Wilkinson, de slide-gitaar van Cas, de contrabas van De Vos en de doorleefde vocalen van de heren zorgen voor dat speciale, authentieke geluid van de Mississippi 'backporch' blues.
