If you have two magnets, the Counter measures 2 RPM per turn. So the rate at computer is the half.

can you use the second reed switch to trigger another relay? Im thinking of making one of these so that i can send a 12vdc pulse to a second relay for pulsing a 12 volt signal to something else.

Where can I find reed switch which does not get burnt ?
I am making electromagnet which needs to be on/off by fast rotating magnet. Power supply is 12V car battery. Thanks Charlie
