@dunnlaw1 Good point but be careful because I've seen there are several videos on YouTube that claim to show how to create an outline but use methods that don't set things up optimally and result in very unstable outlines. I have a video I made on creating them that's almost ready to post but with my current schedule it will probably be a couple weeks before I can get it up.

@LawOfficeSolution Thanks for the comment. I didn't intend the video to claim deep expertise or the best method. It was the absence of good references specific to the task that led me to this (in spite of numerous books and articles).

If you see anything problematic/unstable in what I've shown please let me know.

I wouldn't mind the seeing the other videos you mention and I am quite interested in your method. Perhaps we might be able to converse? I don't know how start that from YouTube.

Hi, I actually didn't even notice your video when I replied, so it was not comment on that - from the thumbnail it looks like yours is probably good.  I was thinking about several others I've seen on here that made me cringe when I thought of people working in complex legal doucments trying to follow their steps.
