If only this all happened in the 21st Century. Nance and Liz could live openly and happily together, the real murderer would have been found (maybe), and we could have had much better pics of the murder scenes.
Then again, all of the romance would be lost. This was the magic of the Fin De Siecle, a.k.a., ironically, The Gay Nineties. So many horrors went on then, and it was still romanticized to the hilt.

Very cool video. She has such a sad look in her eyes. I wouldn't think being a woman in that era wasn't very pleasant. No rights, and just being "property". No wonder she looks so sad. And if she was "a ship passing in the night" with Miss Borden, could have made life extremely difficult. Thanks for sharing this interesting video! :-)
