See how stock, mildly modified, and ultra-modified TJs and JKs tackle the black diamond Bullfrog Trail in Johnson Valley, CA. Just a stone's throw from Hwy 247, the Bullfrog trail has a healthy dose of rocks that should get anyone with a Rubicon ready to take notice. Sadly, this trail is looking at being placed on the "closure list" due to its' proximity to the Marine base at Twentynine Palms, CA. Jimmy "Bud" Ponds, Anthony Mancilla, Mike Hendrick, Powell Schoggens, and Mike Hill narrate.

  • The flat-fendered LJ Rubicon at 0.07 has been sold. The seller is building a hardcore Jeepster Commando!

  • awesome vid! im moving to riverside, ca in a few months and am on here looking for trails that will be near me. if you could let me know of any other good technical trails within a few hours of me that would be awesome. so far i know of johnson valley and bigbear..

  • @jcore316 -- Johnson Valley is about a 2 hour drive north of Riverside via I-15 to Bear Valley Road (travel EAST).

Truckhaven is 2 hours traveling WEST on I-10 from Riverside.

Big Bear is about 1 hour traveling WEST on I-10 from Riverside.

Lots of options depending on the time of year make for a great variety of terrain for your vehicle here! :o)
