I saw one of the OU Mediflight birds in Midwest City today, in an old Target parking lot. I'm guessing that the roof of the local hospital wasn't ready to take choppers yet. I believe the bird was N92OU, but I'm not sure. Missed the takeoff, though, since I was at work and in-between deliveries. :/
EC 130 as a medevac...Seems alittle small to me.The medevac birds where I live are all Augusta A-109's or EC 135's.They are trading up to EC 135's for the space and ease of loading thru the clamshell doors in the back.
FUCKING AWESOME! I LOVE how the fps of the camera captures the blades as if they are standing still even though they are making complete orbits for each frame capture of the camera. And it looks like the blades are curved as well.
@ORLY21 It does look and sound like an updated Gazelle doesn't it:-) I thought the same thing when I first saw an EC130.

This is huge compared to the bell 206 that the medevac uses in our city

And I thought I was hearing things every time this chopper flew overhead. At first glance, thought it was a Gazelle, but I guess I was mistaken.
