  • How expensive is itt to transport a horse by air? I didnt evenn know people do that until today browsing on youtube...

  • @dunnuhlee It depends on the flight. A flight from west coast to east coast could be anywhere from $4,500 - $5,000 one way. It is more than ground travel but less stressful on the horse in most cases.

  • I hope I NEVER have to put my horse through that....it seems so scary.

I am so glad your horse was ok with it! He looked perfectly content throughout the whole process.

  • @LoveMyHorseShazam He was great with it to the East Coast and back to the West. For some it is a lot less stressful then hauling there by van. It only took about 4 - 5 hours compared to 2 - 3 days on the road. The crew is so awesome and you can fly with them too and check on them. Some horses require a little sedation...we were ok without it. Lots of race horses travel back and forth this way.
