Space Shuttle Endeavour (STS-127) Multiple Launch View Compilation

Running a month late because of hydrogen leaks and stormy weather, the shuttle Endeavour finally roared to life and blasted off Wednesday on its sixth try, rocketing away through a hazy sky toward a Friday rendezvous with the International Space Station. Multiple pieces of foam insulation appeared to fall from the ship's external tank during the early moments of flight, but it was not immediately clear whether the shuttle's fragile heat shield suffered any significant damage.

Nice remix...but at first the video is a couple seconds ahead of the actual audio and events just briefly. Your version is more visually interesting than the NASA TV original broadcast though- they've been doing the same pattern for the last couple years on all the shuttle launches.

Yeah, I know. The timing in a couple of clips is off by a few seconds. It's the best I could do with the limited time I had to compile them.

I think the PAO read the EXACT same script she read on STS-120 in October 2007, down to the same timing. Her facts about it being 7 miles downrange at only 33 seconds are WRONG her thrust figures on both the SRBs combined and the total thrust are 1 million lbs. low. The boosters are almost 6 miliion, total with 3 engines at launch is over 7 million.
