Bill Maloney Rattles Ken Livingstone

What does Ken Livingstone do when he meets the real thing? He ignores and tries to ridicule it.
Internationally recognised award winning film director and institutional child abuse survivor Bill Maloney lights the blue touch paper on the streets of Brixton and stands back as Livingstone's cage begins to rattle. Maloney questions him about the cover-up of the Shirley Oaks Children's Home child abuse scandal which Livingstone ordered demolished without investigating the site.
Maloney: "Do you believe children were buried in Shirley Oaks?"
Livingstone: "How on earth would I know?"
Maloney: "How would you know? You're the one that ordered it to be levelled!"

im 16 and i av bin in care home i have neva bin sexauly abused but have had a punch in the head and a lot mental abuse from soical workers and it is right wot ya say m8 kids dont get the chance to talk out and if they do people only say that we are tention seekin and deny everything and no cunt does anything about it its just 4goten i av watched a lot of your vid m8 and fukin breaks me heart but thats just the way it is m8 they dont wanna listen and dont think they eva but respect to ya bless

What I don't understand is why you expected Ken to just stop his planned business just because you've chosen to try and bully him in to doing what you want?

I've just found out a bit more about Bill and I share most of his views. I really am completely baffled as to why he makes Ken out to be such a nasty guy. Ken is one of the good guys in this world. He's done nothing wrong. Noone, including Ken, likes child abuse. ken is not rattled.

Ken is disgusted by child abuse like anyone else, but at the time there were no allegations surrounding what is discussed in this video. I'm sure Ken would be willing to support any move for justice. This video is completely unfair. I'm really baffled as to why Mr Maloney is so disgusted by Ken. He's done nothing wrong.

I can see how it's easy to be fooled by this video. Of course this Bill Maloney guy is well-meaning and raises some valid points. But the writing that appears on the video is stupid and doesn't make sense. He is very rude and aggressive and hypocritical. My problem is that he essentially makes Ken out to be and advocate of child abuse and makes a load of unrelated comments. When in actual fact Ken is one of the most principled people in politics. He answered the question completely.
