Hi, there is an easy way to use other sim cards in LW272 from BSNL

1. Install the USB modem as usual
2. Create a new APN in the BSNL interface (for docomo it is "tata.docomo.internet"). Make it as default.
3. Check in Windows under installed modem options, there you will have HSPA DataCardPropritary USB MODEM
4. Create a new Dialup with your desired name and use the above modem as modem, dialing number will be *99#, user name and password will be blank
5. Go to the BSNL modem installed directory in Program Files, in my system it is "C:\Program Files\BSNL 3G Data Card\BSNL 3G\" . Change the file name BSNL 3G.exe to something else, for example BSNL 3G.abc so that it will not execute.
6.Now remove your datacard and remove BSNL sim and put whichever the SIM you want (APN should be the same) connect it again to the system.
7.The green light will glow after 10-15 seconds. Now you can connect using the new dialup connection we made. (Here onwards, every time you can use the dial-up)
VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: ************************************
first install bsnl 3g datacard and unninstall "BSNL 3G" Don't unninstall HSDPA DATACARD and install the V-CELL

i couldnt find the reboot option wen i typed reboot..plzzzzz help me...i did all the things as on ur video but it didnt detect my device..there is one more problem..wen i remove my data card and insert it again the installation option pops up...i would really appreciate if u could help me on this..thanks in adavance

@john300spartan dude..check whether hspda driver is there or not in the control panel as i shown u in the video...if its not there u have to do this process ..again from the begining...no need to reebot ..just restart the system..

@john300spartan maybe that driver is not the rite one.. try the given hspda driver in bsnl data card..if u do install rite it will install.. i'm 100% sure...try "revo unnistaller" ..and unnistall everything again.. and install it..

revouninstaller type it on google ...or elese try on torrentz dot eu

@PRIMEmedia24 how to install the hspda driver from bsnl datacard? i tried but it didnt install the driver.Could u be more specific? and yep i tried the revo uniinstaller also..uninstalled all the things and started from the beginning. still it wont work as in ur video..do i need to reformat my windows os? and if u could plz send the drivers to my email.

its gr8 and i had also haked it but there is one problem come and that is the networrk is not come properly it will connect but speed is zero {0}

@gohanv9 i prefer u use docomo sim because it has 3g network umts(no need to activate 3g) and browsing speed is gr8. but aircel does not have umts network unless u activate 3g network. for 2g network of aircel it gives above 25kb/s its good.

got to REGEDIT>HKEY LOCAL MACHINE>SOFTWARE>Linktop3G>Eng­ineer

double click on Engineer, change the default value to 0, OK

Now, go to options on the BSNL 3G dialer, and add the APN for AIRTEL or IDEA or any provider and you are ready to go.

I am sending this post using Airtel 3G in BSNL dialer.

unlocker is avaiable for this teracom usb modem and you can use any sim with the software given with the modem.

Is it possible to check the 3G data isage (prepaid connection) using DATACARD itself? Presently, we need to remove the SIM and insert it in a mobile then need to dial *112# to know the balance.
