  • Nice video, but why shoot in 720p when your are able to shoot in 1080p?

  • @paulstam48 Because 1080p have only 20 fps, 720p -> 30fps and gives a smooth image

  • @scmaster78 I think you mean 30 and 60 fps respectively.

  • @GentlemanlyScholar No, 500D have only 20 fps 1080p and 30 fps 720p. It's stupid but real :(

  • Hi I have the same camera and the same lens from an old zenith i had.What i want to know is if you need a mount or adapter to use the lens with the camera...i fear forcing the lens in and breaking it.Is it copatible and if not what did you do?

  • @trueclaude All you gotta do is buy an adapter Canon EF -> M42 with confirmation of focus or not ;)

  • Wow. These DSLR's produce fantastic results with screw mount lenses for virtually no money yet produce such amazing quality. Creamy bokeh throws the focused image into an almost 3D highlight. I salute you. Well done!

  • fajny obiektyw też go używam ;D

  • the photos are rubbish of course with all the noise but its good fun.

  • If you get magic lantern installed on your memory card you can get up to iso 25,600.Twin it with a f1.4 lens and you can see in the dark if youre a bit of a camera geek like me.

  • seems a decent lens.

    Try the smc takumar 50mm f1.4.

    Thats a good lens.

  • great taste

  • Nice job! Shows how these old MF lenses are still capable of creating pleasing images.. I sometimes use 44-M4 on K20D/K5 as interesting portrait lens or with extending tubes as "macro" tool.. But video is another interesting use..

  • OK, thanks for the answer. Bye... Paul
