Just so I don't get subjected to a lawsuit, this was excerpted from "Hollywood Director Attack Ads" uploaded by TheLandLine at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u8fXaJmDbsY

I did not make this video and in no way take credit for it. I just thought this was by far the best part of the whole video and so it deserved to have its own YouTube page.

  • i wish my life was fuckin directed by wes anderson. i wouldn't even have to try at all. plus i'd be surrounded by beautiful scenery and i'd have some dude singing david bowie in portugese following me around. that's what i call living

  • To be fair, Napoleon was a re-imagined Rushmore remake. If anything, Hess owes his style to Anderson, not the other way round.

  • @MrJimmyJr Rushmore and Napolean Dynamite don't have a similar style though and other than both being loosely defined as coming of age comedy, they dont share any similarites in terms of the plot either. Napolean might owe it's plot or style to something that came before it but, it isn't Rushmore. How is it Rushmore re-imagined ? What plot elements does it share? (other than both movies being about a high schooler who dosen't really fit in very well).

  • Very funny.

  • why do I not believe that Wes Anderson did this?

  • I wish I was Wes Anderson!

  • Hilarious how some people believe this is real.

    Great video though.

  • Guys, this is pretty obvious not actually by Wes Anderson.

  • I think he's just parodying John McCain, not supporting him

  • @MrJimmyJr But to be fair, Most of Anderson´s Visual and Narrative style comes from the French New Wave.. especially from Godard!. See: ¨A woman is a woman¨

  • @RedDragoncombatzone man... wise bloody words

  • I've watched this before. Great mimicry of Wes's style.
