I upgraded Windows 7 build 7100 from Vista on my HP TouchSmart IQ818 and it perfectly works! When you want to use multi-touch feature you will need to install that software - go to google and type "NextWindow's Windows Driver Download" then download the file :-) Dont worry about software compatibility as Win 7 is very compatible with vista. When you upgrade it, you must click to check compatibility and if they show any software incompatibility with Win7, you must uninstall it before upgrade it.
