A good friend of mine first showed this to me. I thought the pit bulls eating peanut butter was so funny I made sure to pick up some from the grocery store and try it myself.

you should tell her that the pitbull has only been out-rated in friendliness by the golden retriever by national survey. and in my opinion thats just because goldies have a third of the intelligence pitbulls have. they're amazing dogs who just need strong owners with healthy spirits.

Everything is good in moderation, i give my pit/staffy cross peanut butter and he loves it! he is a rescue too, he's been used for fighting and is useless at it, but sadly his dog aggression has stayed with him. does anybody have any tips for me so i can make him more comfortable around dogs he doesn't know?

@toddwills - It is safe in moderation, otherwise you would not find treats made with peanuts or peanut butter, and it is a common practice too, per the ASPCA, to stuff Kongs with peanut butter.

very cute i have two amstaff 3 months old. they are beatiful im just keeping they ears.. im not a fan of cropping them. they look meaner.

Neither am I. My boy was a rescue and unfortunately his ears were cropped when I got him.
