I understood what he said. And I gave my reasoning behind the name. I only said I felt defensive because of the fact that my comments on here are mostly to defend myself. The thing I took personally was when he said ``I wouldn't take this guy too seriously. `` But enough is definatly enough now.
I will leave this board with one final comment, I agree with you rayandrews1000 on what you said about people talk badly about other bands without knowledge of the band in any way. It is foolish to look stuff up just to look like you know what you are talking about.
If ppl dont like radiohead that's fine, they dont have to. And they also dont need to go out of their way to look them up and start spreading their idiotic banter about why their music sucks. When none of these fools know anything about music. Johnny Greenwood studied music theory, I think his music and his understanding of it speaks for itself. Some fool who listens to fucking lady gaga or miley cyrus coming on here sharing their rants dont have a fucking leg to stand on.
@RayAndrews1000 I know I have come out of nowhere and I see your point but speaking as a Radiohead fan i'd just like to point out that Lady Gaga (Stephanie Germanotta) is actually a very talented musician and a decent singer.
cant tell about miley cyrus but i am quite sure that an someone who studied music theory and know a little about culture would say that shes at least decent... you know her music is less about its mechanically value but the artistic value that cant be translated in a genre like that of radiohead they are far better musicians as her but shes a far better pop performer
Limp bizkit and other generic bands of that sort are not original have nothing to offer, expect noise and alot of headaches. You listen to songs with profound meanings from radiohead like "street spirit" or "all i need" and you are moved and blown away by how this music can speak to you so greatly. I only feel the need to put ppl in their place when they decide to try and attack radiohead's music, its a losing battle for them.They have no input, so therefore should shut the fuck up.
