...and Sunny Side is from the second Timex Show, April 30th 1958. That show was hosted by Gary Moore. Armstrong's All Stars at the time were Trummy Young (tb), Edmond Hall (cl), Billy Kyle (p), Mort Herbert (b), Danny Barcelona (dr),
A few corrections: South Rampart Street Parade was recorded on November 10th 1958 as part of the 3rd Timex Show, Bob Crosby and Hoagy Carmichael were the hosts (Steve Allen hosted the first Timex Show, December 30th 1957). Bob Crosby's Bob Cats consisted of Yank Lawson, Pee Wee Erwin, Chris Griffin (tps), Cutty Cutshall & Lou McGarity (tbs), Bud Freeman (ts), Bill Stegmeyer (cl), Lou Stein (p), Bob Haggart (b), Cliff Leeman (dr).
These are all from the NBC Timex TV-shows recorded in New York April 30th 1958 and narrated by Steve Allen. Lionel was still only just 45 and Big T was 52 and Louis 56.Some if not all, were available on a Video KJ113 (K Jazz Productions)

I love the way Louis Armstrong comes on stage, after the band has started playing. That's so school. You got ya love it.

These shows are great. Do you know anything about the years? Lionel looks young, and Jack teagarden's age looks like early to mid 1950's.
