your voice makes me feel like Mark Wahlberg is telling me how to use Logic :)

Nice tip but the toms are definitly distorting a little and your master/output track is clipping way above 0.. You should try lowering the doubled toms channels by 2/3db and offsetting the panning on them by +/- 10 each way to give it a smoother sound..but just my opinion ;) nice vid man!

Great tut man, this is killer! I will most definitely be using this immediately.

AWESOME tutorial!!!! THANK YOU

@jimmymcloud Not exactly - but you must be REAL careful not to move the doubled track from its original position (keeping them in phase), no destructive interference takes place. I would be willing to try sample hits to see what it would sound like but it might mix weird with the original OH bleed throughs. I think this sounds great but I like to specialize in getting a great sound without too much studio trickery, with analog compression -- but if you're in a real hurry this is amazing!

How do you tackle phase cancellation?
Did you say to use "control X"? because nothing comes up when I do... How do I get that menu to come up at 0:41?

@ChristaEstrada The sample editor needs to be open. If that still doesn't work open up your key commands and look up "strip silence" and use whatever key command you want.

Yeh ur right it's very good. Thank you for sharing. BTW How do you find it best to record your audio? My fan noise sucks?

I have't had any issues with that since I use a laptop and I usually try to set up the mics in a different tracking room.

Very nice tutorial, btw how did you capture the screen and audio. Haven't found a good solution yet.

I use ScreenFlow. It is really easy to use and relatively cheap
