The late great Australian tenor sings with his grand daughter Jodie-Joy 'The Merry Widow Waltz' - 'I Loved You So'. Jodie-Joy is a professional contemporary singer, entertainer and performer.

  • Thank you for your comments. Whilst Donald and June performed many concerts together throughout their illustrious careers, unfortunately they never actually performed an opera together. (Donald's son tenor Robin Donald did however perform the Puccini opera 'La Rondine' with June as part of the Adelaide Festival in 1976). Go to 'Robmanrico's' channel to hear Donald and June performing together 'Only Make Believe' at a concert in Darwin hosted by David Frost. 

  • Mr Smith is unknown to me--very unfortunately! What a fine and expressive voice! Another jewel in Australian opera.

  • A different rendition than standard but beautiful.I have never heard this one before, but will play it again and again. In my teens Donald Smith and June Bronhill were favourites . Its a shame there is no actual video pics of them together. This one with his grand daughter really grabs you. Graham - Melbourne Aus
