  • First one reminds me of Age of Empires II.

  • @Alorty1 Yeah, I see what you mean. The Eastern-inspired samples from Mattias' tracks really do hearken back to some of the tracks from AoE.

  • I'm so psyched about this game! Since I heard this music, I really have a different prospect of Scrolls.

Sure, we've seen some cards and stuff, but this music doesn't fit with my idea of what Scrolls would be like. I'm excited!

  • @barovis Interesting to hear you say that. How did hearing this music change your perception of the game?

  • Thanks for all the comments guys! We'll be sure to post more updates as we progress. Probably through more official channels too. ;)

  • this music reminds me of Jak and Daxter :)

  • I like that there are themes within the music. It follows a similar progression in both songs shown at 44 seconds.

The first song reminds me of older JRPGs like Chrono Cross. I love it :)

  • @radiofreegamer really good stuff guys! can't wait for Scrolls to launch :) if you haven't already, check out Scrollsguide(dot)com got a community going there already

  • @radiofreegamer weird to explain, since I heard this music I really have to revise my ideas about Scrolls. The first song for example feels a bit turkish/chinese, the second song fits my expectations a lot better though.

Don't get me wrong btw, I really love both of the songs.

I guess I'll just have to wait for the alpha release, then we'll see again :P

some more tidbits would be cool too. XD

  • @jwmusicorg Can't wait for that! I'm sure it will be huge for you :)
