  • Nice job. I'd like to see a list of Health Care Industry backed politicians cross-referenced with their actions concerning the latest debate.

  • MIke Ross is owned by the Health Ins Companies!

I don't care if he's defeated by a Democrat, Republican, or Independent - JUST SO LONG AS HE'S DEFEATED!

  • Interesting post. I have made a twitter post about this.

  • Congressman Ross voted against the health option and the statistics on Arkansans liking this bill is false. Arkansans are opposed to the whole bill. Get you facts right. Ask an Arkansan, like me, first. Thank god for Congressman Ross.

  • The new gov. option plan will make premiums highers. We will be paying more, taxed more. We do now want a gov. program". They have done so well with social security, medicaid, medicare.

I am sure we all love to be mandated to buy health insurance or be fined or jail time. The young....they will be paying more than the rest of us. I think it was 8x more.

Taxing beer/wine/softdrinks/ junk food /fruit juices/ & a fuel tax ..etc. etc .. Or we could just have to ability to shop across state line.

  • If there was ever a direct sell-out to corporations, it is Mike Ross. After selling his family's pharmacy for a greatly inflated price, Congressman Ross changes his position completely against Americans having the right to choose a public option or not. Further, he is fighting to force every American to buy crummy private insurance, with high deductibles that will still bankrupt you. Billions more for insurance cos., at our expense, for $900,000 given to Mike Ross. Not a bad return......

  • The Democratic Socialist Party of America is on the march. This isnt about healthcareits about political power and control over our lives.

Look whos in the trial lawyers hip pocketDems wont touch Tort Reform. They might lose their support.

Congress, dont proceed with any legislation until you have launched aggressive Tort Reform and war on Medicare and Welfare fraud.

Repub. have very good ideas that won't destroy a enviable system. K. Olbermann is a disgusting Dem. mouthpiece.

  • Jackass Keith Olbermann---if it wasn't for General Electric propping up that God-awfulShow's ratings---he'd be in some garbage heap... Cong. Ross---do your job and you'll be ok

  • Lawrence Lessig is an expert on copyright law, he's written several books on the subject.

I just find that it's ironic that MSNBC sent Lessig a cease-and-desist for this video when Rachel Maddow ON the same network featured this EXACT VIDEO on her show!

    See ?v=DoijjzjUFKs

Again, I'm disappointed in Olbermann's response, especially when Lessig is obviously agreeing with the point that Olbermann made in his editorial.

  • No, I was talking about Lawrence Lessig. He's a lawyer.

  • Thanks for the prompt and civil reply.

Did you also hear Olbermann's disappointment that Lessig skirted the common journalistic practice of asking for comment before publishing a piece of news? I don't think the fair use law includes paid political advertisements; any good lawyer would know that.

From Wikipedia: "Olbermann graduated from Cornell in 1979 with a B.S. in communications arts."

I did not know he covertly attended Law School without it being in the public record.
