Hey, Im doing this for a school project and I cant seem to get the red stick next to the clip when I'm trying to put it on top. Advanced is on.

@W34R33 Did you ever get it to work? iMovie is kind of tedious when it comes to placing your fingers in the proper location to make certain things happen.

@SWIPETV I would recommend using Final Cut Express for something like that...it is inexpensive and provides options like that I believe.

@radicalgirl411 if you open iMovie, and go to the top bar, and click the iMovie tab, then click About iMovie, it will tell you. :]

how do you tell what version of imovie you have??? also when i drag the photo into imovie it just drags it in as a picture and i cant get it to go into the video or like, like a song above the vide it wont do that please hellp

@CPA6600 @CPA6600 Did you make sure to save the edited image as a .png or .gif? Jpeg will give the black background while the other two formats retain the transparency.
