@Billy193 This movie was more about the race to GET to the fountain of youth rather then telling a story, plus they told us something about Ponce de Leon & stuff, & they said that Blackbeard can do Voodoo, so it's normal that his sword was like that. This movie was more of a race and to explore new characters & mermaids.

One thing this movie didnt have that bothered me was that there was no story of the fountain of youth. Like they explained how Davy Jones became what he was, and how Barbossa's crew got cursed, but they didnt explain how the Fountain of youth was made. It was just already there, with no background story. Same with Blackbeards sword.
