I ran across UrbanEars at CES 2011 and really like what I saw at their booth. I love all the headhphone colors they offer and their minimalist design angle—they're like the American Apparel of the headphone world.

Here's a quick unboxing and review of the (Green) Urbanears Plattan headphones with iPhone control and microphone.

  • They're cheap in the US apparently, but in Europe they cost like 70€.... I'd rather give 20 more euros and get Sennheiser headphones. Who gives a crap about how they look. You're listening to them, not looking at them

  • @masternatedogg Dre's are overpriced. Get Bose if you want quality, or these if you don't wanna go broke. -i am slightly biased but choose what u want if you have the coin for the dre's and you really want them, get them.

  • @AkatsukiFan1357 They are sturdy, you just have to watch out to make sure u dont bend the metal on them, but if by chance you do, they probably have a 90day warranty, and if not, you can always try to bend them back.

  • How durable are these because All my headphones break within a month or so and I don't want to spend that much if they break.

  • Which one is better? These or Dr.Dre Solos??

  • Your baked. Don'tch ya?

  • @fallenlove9 thats cool. maybe you have some special hybrid pair that eliminates pain or something. Personally i couldnt stand them but i have way better headphones now anyways. Beyerdynamic is the shit

  • Lovin it

  • I just got them today and i was really suprised :) they have great sound and you can wear them for a long time without your ears start hurting

  • is there a volume switcher near the mic button?
