  • So this is for the 13" unibody "aluminum" model, correct? What's the part number of the replacement superdrive?

  • @TommyboyGTP - Yes, the Superdrive model varies, however the most common type is a UJ-868. The part is available from our online store or by calling us at 1-866-726-3342.

  • Can you show how repare the trackpad??????????

  • @TheSantiayo - You can't repair the actual trackpad. You have to replace it.

  • @thegameguy1000 The Superdrive ended up gettins squashed at the recycling depot! :(

  • I'm probably going to do this. I never use my SuperDrive, I only used it to install the latest OSX, but now Lion is available via download through the Mac App Store, and I can install Lion through a usb flash drive.

  • @PowerbookMedic Could you then show how to replace it please? I have this same model and am going to buy a replacement part and am not 100% sure on how to replace it. Thanks!

  • why it so sad music?!?!

  • Thanks for making this video. I want to put a blu-ray drive in my macbook pro and I'm pretty good with hardware, but at $1,700, I did not want to damage my computer.
