  • @shiconia I still own this truck and it is almost 5 years old right now. It currently has 16K so in another 5 years it should have 30 to 40 thousand miles. I would bet it will still be on the road.

  • @wafrederick

That's because the truck is brand new? See if that thing is even on the road in 10 years.

  • The 6 speed auto can't be killed,a pretty much bulletproof transmission. My father's 2011 has this transmission and has not failed yet

  • @99dodgeram360 there both great but it depends what u want them for if its for pulling stick is the way to go for racing nothing beats a built auto ask they fastest duramax in the world what they use it sure aint allison

  • @distkgo77 Well that sounds good to me, I won't be doing too much heavy hauling anyway, so I think I will be going auto when I can finally get it. Thanks!

  • @99dodgeram360 I have had no problems with this truck...... Just oil changes. No transmission problems.

  • @distkgo77 Have you had any major problems with your auto transmission?

  • @99dodgeram360 My father has a 6.7L 2008 6 speed standard and is great to drive and pull. I don't mind driving it at all. In town, it is low geared and requires lots of shifting. It get better mileage in town and on the highway. At 3200 RPM is truck is maxed in 6th gear at 109 MPH. Both have 3.73 rear gears. The auto - no shifting, fast, pulls great, maxed in 6th gear at 2200 RPM. It is probably up to personal preference!!

  • @distkgo77 Ok, so I have been wanting a Cummins for a while now and I don't know if i should get an auto or manual. Obviously by the looks of your video the auto hauls ass. What would you tell me I should get?

  • @99dodgeram360 Because their is absolutely nothing wrong with the 6 speed automatic and it goes like a son of a bitch!! You should see it with the superchip installed!!!! Check out my burnouts with it.
