@FallenKain You have a fair point, there. That is one of the things that I want to do — start a small orchestra, but play rock songs to the orchestra, nothing like that other orchestra that plays a lot during holidays. I wasthinking more like Beethoven + Metal = AWESOMENESS!

Amazing. I personally like a variety of music, and this is at the top of my list right now in terms of solely instrumental music. Personally, I would like to see this plus the drums and singer of tool. That would be perfect.

I think Tool and Vitamin String Quartet's rendition of Tool are just amazing. As cheesy as it sounds, they take me places. And I'm not saying that because I'm a crazy artist chick.

I think some of these quartet versions of Tool sound quite good, but I think that with many, this one included, a full orchestra would be needed to reproduce the power and presence of the actual instruments used by the band members. This version sounds elegant and beautiful, just underpowered.

1)Agreed. An opinion is your own and therefore cannot actually be 'wrong'.
2)I understand where dethshockbio is coming from on this one as it's the sound of Maynard's voice, not the lyrics, which complete the songs. In my opinion though the violin is no replacement for Maynard.
All said and done I love what these guys have done and think it's awsome!
