This is the first of hopefully many "daily" episodes that don't run daily but are shorter and have more to do with Japanese News compared to anything else. There'll be other series eventually as well, but for now, enjoy our first one. Hopefully they'll get better in the future.

More terrible Japanese product / company names that actually exist:

Panisonic Eluga Phone:

GA = gateway

7-Eleven → 7 and i-Holdings
(happened after merging with i-Holdings in Japan)

What other terrible in-English Japanese names are there? I bet there's a ton, but those are the ones I could think of off the top of my head.
