Very Nice, looks almost like something you could sell.
What someone should do, it create a "vertual garden" with shrubs and trees and stuff (which make shadows), and the sun moves during the day, then make a genetic algorythem to find the behaviour that makes the most use of the day light hours in a varity of gardens and doesn't move around at night. then build this behaviour into a group of trilobots. then set them loose!!
