  • None of the vast-looking environments seen in this trailer were in the final product; no massive dark forest with towering trees; there were never dozens of enemies on screen like in the beginning of the trailer; other trailers with Link being chased by the giant spider and walking with the huge Ent-looking creature were gone. The final version of Twilight Princess was too easy and there weren't nearly enough NPCs or side quests.

  • i think they should have kept it beta...it looks EVEN better in this one :O

  • @Dax20798 yeah trailer way better than game i still like tp but ur right too easy

  • @MasterPhil175 TO much space.

  • This is the best trailer ever!

  • I always rotted to fight and see this scenes but was very low :/

i wanted to know why link runned from the spider but never happened and the part of him grabing the cat and things never appeared :/ shame but still the game was good and true 2 easy :S looking forward for Skyward sword

  • It almost looks like a completely different game. Because I certainly don't remember playing a lot of that...

  • Why did Nintendo have to cut most of this out of the final game???

  • someone knows the song name?

  • @Dax20798

Well, there was a pretty big forest in the final version. It was really big, with plenty of room to wander. Problem was, there's nothing to do in big empty spaces like that, except fight off multiple common enemies. It's that one wooded area that gets covered in fog.

I really would have liked to see more of what I saw in the trailers. And yes, the game was too easy. Maybe in the next game, they'll incorporate a difficulty setting.

  • No, they had everything that was in the final release pretty much sorted by late 2005...they delayed it to add superfluous improvements, and to delay it for Wii. The Cube launch wasn't even advertised and the game was undersold as a motion sensing extravaganza-which it wasn't, so that added to the disappointment. Other disappointment arose from reduced difficulty etc.

I played it @ a Nintendo show in August 2005, look at the E3 demo of the horseback fight to see my comments on the differences.

  • The devs behind Twilight Princess said they meant to give us this game..but instead had to cut some things short to make it for Wii release =/
