Here was a series that was as artistic, and well versed as it could get for what it was. Their animation was more of a treat, than a necessity, the often still frame scenes were impacting, with motion to underscore emotion, rather than overshadow it.

Yeah, they had plenty of action sequences too, but never to the point of betraying the art itself, or the story.
