Base Build:
HP - 200+
Atk/Sp.atk 80+
Def 80+
Sp.def 80+
Spd 3-15+
Offensive Pokemon Build:
HP - 200+
Atk/Sp.atk 100+
Def 70+
Sp.def 70+
Spd 3-15+
Tank Build:
HP - 200+
Atk/Sp.atk 70+
Def 90+
Sp.def 90+
Spd 3
Pure Tank(PT) Build:
HP - 250+
Atk/Sp.atk 3
Def 105+
Sp.def 105+
Spd 3
These are builds that I recommend. The stats shown above are the minimum/average stats for each build, additional stats may be given to whichever stat has a "+" to further increase your builds strength.
Hint: Keep your Max.Hp above 200 to counter enemy Pure Tank builds with their set-damage moves like Night Shade.
Hint: Speed is recommended for Leech/Poison/Sleep users
Hint: Tank/PT builds are especially recommended for pokemons with healing moves and PT builds are only recommended for pokemon with set-damage or status changing moves.
Hint: Offensive builds are usually easier to train, strong in early- and midgame.
Tank builds are usually hard to train but stronger than Offensive builds in the high-lvls.
Hint: Though Def and Sp.def should usually be equal, you may vary them by as much as you please as long as it fits to your teams strategy. Example:
You got a pokemon whiches only purpose is to battle physical-attack-enemies after all sp.atk enemies have been taken out. In this case you can give your pokemon 100% Def and no Sp.def or similar.
I not get 1 think.
Time you suviver psyhical attack is Defense * Hp.
And time you suviver special attack is Special Defense * Hp.
So having 203 Hp and 70 defense and 70 special defense in attack build is worse than for example 183 Hp with 80 defense and 80 sp defense.
So why having more than 200 Hp is so importand ?

@CommanderIX: That's a good question. The answer is because of popular pokemon like Gyarados, Pinsir or Gengar.
They use moves that reduce your HP by a certain amount, ignoring your def and sp.def. It's up to you to decide whom you want to make your pokemons strong against. These builds I listed are for general use, so you can't do much wrong with them against any opponent. If you want your pokemon stronger against non-tanks then your build is good, they will just be weaker against tanks then.

@Flevalt
I see.
Attack what base on pokemon level do 100 damage on level 100, and in this game having pokemon with high Hp is hard.
In orginal game, pokemons Hp were above 300 mostly, some of tham even over 400.
In here getting 200 Hp is hard so attacks what base on pokemon level are overpowered.
Oh and by the way, do pokemons here not gain any status each level, do you only get TP what you can relocate ?
CommanderIX 1 year ago
@CommanderIX: The attacks won't do 100 damage in PCO though, they were nerfed to 50% or something like that. Still, very powerful when your opponent goes full def stats.
Pokemon who lvlup don't gain base stats. Yes, they ONLY gain TP to relocate. However you can gain even more TP through different ways, not just from lvlups.
You can get the most TP out of your pokemon at the time you catch it.
PCO is so famous because of this TP system mainly.
