Yeah, many "good" bass players are just trying to make it to complex and then it sounds like shit. To be a good bass player isn't just so play as fast as possible and just throw in ghost notes in between, to be a good bass player is also to be good at writing bass lines

yeah, that's what I mean. To mant people nagging about that fieldy is a bad bass player just cuz he doesn't have the hardast bass riffs and so on, but he's got the sweetest riffs ever dude
