I disagree, if you have a knife in any Zork game type "Kill me with knife" you'll laugh at what happens...or when you get to the "entrance of hades" type "fuck the bodies" twice...hehe

The creepiest ending to an Infocom game is in "Deadline." If you go up to the library on the second floor and jump off the balcony, the game gives you the following message:

"For a brief moment, you feel the exhilaration of free fall. A thought hits you: the ground is moving toward me. It is your last thought."

Text adventures are great. Suicide is not.
