Back in 2004 I was living in Lisbon with my girlfriend Julie. I had a national record release under the name Lata Dog and despite national airplay for the whole summer, I made no money. Times were hard, we could not afford to fix the swimming pool and so, just like everything in Portugal, we made the best of it by filling it up a little bit. It was enough to keep us cool in the blazing heat and my cousins were around to liven things up. These were the good times. My cousin Nuno Gouveia made this film. He's the guy in the poney tail. My other cousin (the boxer) is also a very talented film director. The tune is perfect.
