Raw Video - South Salina Street Shootout on April 13, 2009

Raw video of a shootout between two Syracuse police officers and parolee James Tyson was taken from a passing Centro bus at 7:30 p.m. April 13 at the Colonial Laundromat on South Salina Street. This video was recorded as the bus stopped at the intersection where Ballantyne and Walrath roads meet South Salina Street. An unmarked police car and suspect vehicle can be seen in the far left side of the video as shots ring out. Tyson was killed in the gunfight; Detectives Ed Falkowski and Richard Curran were both injured.
