Thompson Twins on an early evening pop programme called Razzmatazz. It was presented by a hideous, over "yooful' bearded chap...on the tour for the this album, i met jo leeway, and enthusiastically explained to him that a better title might have been 'into the bap' and 'doctor, doctor, can't you see i'm vermin'. it wasn't appreciated...

  • Thanks for posting this...I'm in the audience on the stage. I'm the dodgy looking kid who's out of time and wearing a grey cardy with a Y on it.

  • at least you're not the guy in the white jumpsuit and bow tie in the totp into the gap film!!! :)

  • you are so lucky! ! TT were my all time fave band as a teenager. saw them once, my first concert.

my all-time thrill was getting a letter from alannah currie, still have it!

  • wow, check out that old school magic carpet...so slow, small with no amenities, and you didn't need a special permit to fly it back then, i had a friend Aubdul who flew around the neighborhood, he was only 12 years old!

  • Betcha didn't know people could fly in the 80s! Flying carpets were outlawed in 1990.

  • And we all know that this "hideous, over 'yooful' bearded chap", is Alistair Pirrie, who co-presented this programme with Lisa Stansfield.

  • GREAT QUALITY!

  • @bluejeckett Y indeed!!..... It was a T V show called Razzamatazz that was shot at the Tyne Tees Television studio's. in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne. They used to get the kids from schools around the North of England to use as the audience. As for the clapping, I remember there were that many takes my arms ached..
