  • Chester Thompson for President !

  • The Way We Walk was and still is by all account a MONSTER CD. I tend to get really pissed when the puritans chastize me about liking the line up post Hacket and Gabriel. The fact remains that pop sold out or not GENESIS is a group of incredibly talented musicians and probably the only Rock band that can pull a set, rehearse it and be ready for a live performance in a matter of 5 hours. Now tell me, who the fuck does that!!!

  • Epic masterpiece.

  • When the song breaks into the second half and picks up,

has to be the GREATEST DRIVING guitar riff ever-

Blasting, and cutting through Gods country like a knife.....

  • Chester thompson putting his Heart and soul his everything into them Drums!

  • Music of my time.

  • ....still 20 years on cant be beaten!!

  • Camp Randall Stadium 1992 best concert ever. ever.

  • My two cents: Genesis's works are anything but pop music.

  • @mroblongo By comparizon they were making good pop music at least. Among the crap of the 80's.

I hated 80's music but it didn't matter, musically I was a decade behind. In Cuba it was extremely difficult to obtain foreign music. So, I spent the 80's discovering all the good music from the 70's, among other things from that era LOL. Basically I came to it in the 90's when better music was being made.

  • @dualpoletech

And they then to forget that Peter Gabriel also "sold out" with pop music...Steam, Sledgehammer, etc..etc. I like both, Genesis and Peter gabriel :D
