regardless of who's replacing john, i doubt that the band will have the same feeling as it did with him. but if your wondering if josh is any good, (which he is) listen to 'A sphere in the heart of silence'. its the album with him and john playing together.

@Deboekendief I saw somewhere that he said he didn't just want to do something be its expected of him, and he wants to focus on his sole career :(

he always said he didn´t like the whole famous rockband thing. and I heard that Josh Klinghoffer will replace him. That´s quit weird because he´s one of the best friends of John.

Yeah Josh will replace John. I haven't heard any of his stuff "/ Is he any good? I just hope he can match John's God-like guitar playing and backing vocals. I'm obviously upset he's left, but I'm happy that were still blessed with his solo stuff.

Josh plays very well. He toured with the peppers since 2007. He and John had a kind of non-verbal connection. They always knew from each other what to play and what the other meant. On Johns new album, the empyrean is a lot stuff of Josh.
