a quick video explaining the basics of adjustment layers in Photoshop. specifically, this video shows the use of adjustment layers and masks to create a highlight at the edge of an avatar in a Second Life snapshot.

this video assumes a basic knowledge of Photoshop. it is not meant to be an in depth lesson, but more of a general introduction to a concept.

so... I used to teach this stuff but it's been a while so I am a little rusty at explaining. and this is my first video capture. and my microphone sucks. but all disclaimers aside, i think I get the point across!
