T-34 Tank

This is some video of the T-34 Russian WWII tank owned by a fellow WWII collector. At the time, the owner had German capture marking on it. Germans frequently captured and repaired T-34's and turned them on their former owners.

T-34 with German cross on armour? Well.. it's hilarious (apart from being totally stupid, of course). It's not because I'm Russian, but just the general impression, in my opinion. No offence :)

@ivdzhen It's not totally stupid, because T-34 tanks that were captured by the Germans (and many were) were marked EXACTLY like that so that they would not get blasted by friendly fire. One marked EXACTLY like THAT was pulled from a lake recently in Hungary. So do your research, before you say SOMETHING TOTALLY STUPID.

@ivdzhen That tank was sold to another fellow a while back who was going to restore it to Russian colors and accessories.

@DARIVSARCHITECTVS I can imagine! Our reenactment group has several thin-skinned vehicles plus a PIII and the cost of gas makes it almost impossible to bring out sometimes.
