DFP (yeah, I know its corny but I had to name it something to make it easy to remember) stands for Duplicate, Filter, Pitch and is useful for producing hip-hop tracks.
First duplicate the loop you want to base your track on.
Loop 1: Filter out the low-end range + Add some reverb
Loop 2: Filter out the high-end range and boost the bass with
Place the loops synchronized on different channels
Pitch both of the loops up some semi-tones.
Work with layering different sounds on top of the high-end/low-end loops such as drums or other elements . Try to dub a bass line to give it more definition.
