u know, this song isn't NEARLY as hard as it sounds! technically speaking, i mean. i was really surprised when i saw the music. of course emotionally its difficult as hell. but still

You may not like Emerson's interpretation, but it's hard to deny the accuracy and tension they show.
Staccato in mozart is totally different from what they do. That may not be what shostakovich want, but they astonished the audience by their own way.

I prefer this one in terms of interpretation!

The tempo isn't amazing, and there are obvious mistakes form 3:26 to 3:30 which are critical.
Personally I prefer Emerson's version better.
this is the fastest tempo I've ever heard!!!
