all people are truly ugly, or purely egotistical, until either they recognise their own true beauty or someone else recognises their beauty and points it out and accepts them. Acceptance is everything be it our own acceptance of ourselves or someone else's acceptance of us. Be not superficial, but dig deep and be humbled.

@ThirdEye1989 phycicists know, for example, that there is some discrepency between apparent gravity and expected gravity in the Universe and a lot more besides. The potential ramifications of this are huge... Spiritual people also know that there is way more to understanding everything than we understand. My terms may be simple but what can I do? It's all so weird.

@ThirdEye1989 same is true in physics. The moment some of us begin to understand reality from a phycisists perspective, we begin to forget once we're again embroiled in our perception of reality based upon our 5 senses and ego etc... physics and spirituality do run some parallels I think, just in different ways based upon perception and analytical method if you like, but the subject is pretty much the same.

ram dass has helped see that there is MORE to my life than what anyone else taught me. we are all one. he expresses views withsuch truth and in such good analogies i find it impossible to not agree....ive never heard someone speak that speaks how i truly feel in my heart...or what i strive for.

Watching a video like this once isn't enough. I understand what he means at the time but by the time you step out from underneath your roof to go off with your friends, everything vanishes. Because for me it's as if its only real inside the computer so when I look out the window, that is a different place than Ram Dass Talks of. Thats why you must watch til what is being said in the video, you begin saying to yourself, then you take the world Ram Dass sees and begin to live in the same world too

this is what Ram Dass is talking about at the end of this clip. And yes it is hard because the ego doesn't want to give up its game of separation and will fight it tooth and nail.
