Chamber Foundation gives back to the Hollywood community

The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce Community Foundation is an organization within the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce that promotes outreach and the well-being of the non-profit organizations within the community.

The Foundation is unique because, as part of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, it illustrates the success of a business advocacy group giving financial assistance to the community that it serves, namely the charities that are members of the Hollywood Chamber.

Hollywood Chamber Community Foundation presented two new grants to local organizations.
Chamber Foundation presented LA Contemporary Exhibitions (LACE) a check for $2,500 for support of upcoming summer season events
and public projects.
Chamber Foundation presented Special Olympics Southern California a check for $1,250 for support of School Games Program in L.A. County.
As of January 2010, the Hollywood Chamber Community Foundation has granted a total of $600,000 to local charities.
