Obviously sheeba has poor reading comprehension skills... It was specifically stated that you can download from anywhere that you are connected to the 3g network...
You're incorrect when you say you have to be in a B&N store to buy e-books. You are constantly connected to AT&Ts 3G network so you can purchase/download from anywhere. You can also connect to your home wireless network as well. The benefits of connecting to the wireless hot spots at a Barnes & Noble location is you will be provided with exclusive content and offers. As for the rest - no one is saying you have to switch. :)
If you can't minimize that color section, it will distract the hell out of you while reading. I have a Kindle and love it and would not change for anything. This is just a rip off. You can only download wirelessly from inside a B&N store too. Pathetic.
I'm saving up for a nook. I can't wait to get one! : )
