Paul and Heather // You'd Be Home

I had this montage all lined up and ready to go for today and then I learned on Thursday that Vail Bloom is no longer to be in the role of Heather. I cannot possibly express how disappointed I am, whatever the reason of her departure. I simply loved her portrayal of the character - fearless, unyeilding, smart, and saavy. But also warm, very young in a lot of ways, a girl who has no one, a girl who desperately wants to be loved, a daughter who so suits a dad like Paul. Their relationship is the one I will miss the most. Thanks for a great ride Vail; thanks for giving us such a great Heather Stevens.

The song is actually "If My Heart Was A House" but I thought this sounded better in the title. I think the video gets better as it goes along; I always have trouble with songs that just "start" with lyrics, no instrumental introduction or anything. Enjoy!

Paul and Heather were separated for over 25 years. When Paul was teenager, he enjoyed having FUN with GIRLS and had a fling with a girl named April Stevens. He got April pregnant and didn't step to take responsibility. He came around(when the baby almost died), married April and tried to raise their daughter, Heather with her. But because Paul was so young then, being a dad and a husband was too much for him to handle. So Paul and April agreed it was best if Heather was raised without Paul.

@SarahJoyBrownFan Yeah, not to mention she beared a striking resemblance to Cindy Eilbacher the actress who played April Stevens(Heather's mom) from 1979 to 1994. I believe there's a clip on you tube where Paul is remembering visiting April on Christmas when Heather was still a baby and April looks a lot like this Heather.
