Vinces methods worked but so do many others. The best physiques have been built with the conventional methods of bodybuilding. Why can't we be bodybuilders who use a hint of powerlifting? Look at ronnie coleman, whole different level and he uses powerlifting.

I agree with you entirely. The point Vince Gironda often made was to use the right tool for the job. Whether it be nutrition, supplementation or training, have clear goals and take the optimal approach to meet them.

Kay was one of the pioneers of womens bodybuilding. Killed in a car crash in 1988.

Love this video. I remember being awed at Kay's physique when she transformed a good physique into superwoman for the 1982 Olympia. I bought everything I could with Kay in it for the next 3 years. Even then, we couldn't guess how far ahead of her time her physique was. 1983-85 Kay could've competed at a Level IV show 20 years later. All but a couple of her peers would've been in the figure lineup.
