Sri-Lanka, described as the pearl of the Indian Ocean, is an island that is purely breath taking. This can be seen from the endless miles of palm-shaded sandy beaches, warm seas, colourful salt water fish and reefs and tranquil lagoons. Within this paradise, a colourful and smooth blend of history, culture, countryside and wildlife thrive among this nation. A strategic naval link between West Asia and South East Asia, located about 31 kilometers (18.5 miles) off the southern coast of India. Sri Lanka has been an ancient centre of Buddhist and Hindu religion and culture. Significant numbers of people also adhere to Christianity, Islam and indigenous religions. Sinhalese people form a majority of the population, which also composes of a large Tamil population and smaller communities of Burghers, Muslims and indigenous people. Famous for production and export of tea, coffee, rubber and coconuts, Sri Lanka also boasts a progressive and modern industrial economy. The natural beauty of Sri-Lanka's tropical forests, beaches and landscape and rich cultural heritage makes it a famous destination for tourists worldwide.

uuuummmm... wellllll.... i must say two things to this performance:

1. the sinhala part should have been more upbeat, to be honest, the sinhala part in this wuz very boring

2. there should be a third dance added, to represent the sri lankan malay community, don't leave us out :(
